Your hosts at this welcoming place to stay are Glyn and Jessica Bridgeman and Sean Gerrard. They’re an enterprising team who constantly embrace new ideas. The old cellar has been beautifully converted into a full spa which uses only natural organic products. It has a wide range of treatments and therapies, a sauna, whirlpool spa and air-conditioned gymnasium (there’s also an outdoor heated pool). Good food has always been an important part of the ethos at Peterstone Court. The approach is simple and honest – it’s always seasonal and sustainable, using fresh home-reared and local ingredients, organic where possible. Almost all the meat and poultry comes from the family farm just down the road. Peterstone may be grand, but the atmosphere is relaxed, casual and anything but stuffy. It’s close to the handsome market town of Brecon with superb hill walking, golf and fishing on the doorstep.
