The Chef at Caemorgan Mansion is also the owner so you are in good hands! David Harrison-Wood prefers the term 'cook' to chef, but we assure you that his dishes are cleverly flavoured, well-balanced and are, in our opinion, unmatched in the local area. Cooking with fresh, local ingredients is key to David's cooking and using local beef from the farmer for his extensive steak menu is a winning combination.

We put David under the hot lamp and asked him the following quick fire questions, and here is what he said:Chefs: David: Caemorgan

Your cooking style in a word (or two)? Modern European.

Biggest influence? Gordon Ramsay.

Favourite local produce? Belgium Blue Beef.

Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver? Jamie Who?

Welsh rarebit or cheese sandwich? Welsh Rarebit.

Who would you like to cook for and why? Rhod Gilbert as he would fill the room with laughter.

Favourite Welsh Rarebits restaurant (apart from your own, obviously)? St Brides Spa Hotel, Saundersfoot.

We’re paying, where in the world do you want to eat? Gordon Ramsay at The Conrad, Tokyo.

Any other passions apart from cooking? Sampling new wines my wife orders and Skiing.
