RAREBITS' CLEAN SWEEP AT WALES THE TRUE TASTE AWARDS
Rarebits member The Grove, Narberth, took the Gold medal in the Restaurant / Hotels (with Rooms) category at the 10th anniversary Wales the True Taste Food and Drink Awards.
To complete the hattrick in that cateory fellow Rarebits members Llansantffraed Court Hotel, Abergavenny took Silver and Tyddyn Llan, Llandrillo took Bronze.
Held at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, the 2011-12 Wales the True Taste Food and Drink Awards ceremony showcased and rewarded some of the best and most innovative food and drink products from Wales, and recognised excellence in the retail and hospitality sectors.

THE CROWN & TYDDYN LLAN RETAIN THEIR STARS
Rarebits members The Crown at Whitebrook and Tyddyn Llan, Llandrillo have kept their stars in the latest The Michelin Guide to Great Britain & Ireland 2012.
They are joined by The Walnut Tree, Abergavenny and newcomer The Checkers in Montgomery, a Great Little Places member. However the total number of Michelin-starred establishments in Wales remains at four as Ynshir Hall has been dropped this year.
The Felin Fach Griffin near Brecon has been awarded a Bib Gourmand in the Guide for offering "good food at moderate prices".

RAREBITS MEMBERS TAKE TOP SPOTS IN GOOD PUB GUIDE
Rarebits member Ye Olde Bull's Head Inn in Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey has been named the Best Pub in Wales in the Good Pub Guide 2012. The Guide also commended the pub's lengthy wine list.
For the second year running The Felin Fach Griffin near Brecon has taken the title of Best Dining Pub of the Year in Wales. The Guide says the Griffin is "a tremendously good all rounder" where "nothing is missed".
